June 2022’s Best Book Covers
June has been a complete whirlwind, but I did get time to browse the new releases in local bookshops, and boy was it a great month. Ottessa Moshfegh’s covers always set her books apart and reflect her singularity as a writer in a sea of literary fiction, the cover for her latest book Lapvona is no exception. The trend for fruity covers continues with Thrity Umrigar’s Honor, and the standard of cookery book design continues to put other lifestyle books to shame, with Claire Thomson’s Tomato bringing Hungry Caterpillar vibes that just spark joy - and I’m not even a fan of tomatoes!
