July 2022’s Best Book Covers
Pink and orange books continue to reign supreme in the world of book cover design this month, with dashes of olive green and chartreuse that scream ‘I’M A TRENDY BOOK’. Can’t wait to see what we’ll think of those covers in a few years. Looking to the future, Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow, one of the year’s most talked about books, breaks the mould with its cover, refusing to be boxed in by the trend for in-your-face colours and fonts (which you’ll notice I’m not at all against) and instead leaning into a nostalgic video game inspired typeface and dreamy pastels.
